To deploy isolation area to focus suspected cases from the epidemic area

On February 17, the Department of Health planned to deploy a quarantine area for suspected cases of Corona virus (Covid-19) from the epidemic area to Binh Duong.

The purpose of the centralized isolation area is to prevent the spread of disease in Binh Duong. The plan sets out specific targets: Transporting 100% of the cases of concentrated isolation as stipulated in Decision No. 344/QD-BYT into the concentrated isolation areas; sampling 100% of cases with symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection (fever, cough, runny nose) in the isolation area for testing; transfer 100% of cases having positive test results of Corona virus to treatment at the Provincial General Hospital. The object of concentrated isolation is a person who comes from or passes through Hubei province (China) to Binh Duong within 14 days from the date of entry; Vietnamese people coming from or visiting China (except for Hubei province) to Binh Duong within 14 days of entry.

The concentrated isolation area is arranged at the Military School of Binh Duong province. It is expected that 100 isolated beds will be arranged here. In addition to the personnel to ensure daily duty, the quarantine area is also equipped with disinfecting spray machine, Cloramin B chemical (for spraying, cleaning floors, soaking disinfectant mats and slippers), costumes, gloves, leaflets for communication, medical masks, sterilized hand sanitizers, soaps, medicines to treat some common diseases.
