To enhance State’s environment management

Provincial Department of  Natural Resources and Environment informed that in 9 months of 2020 State’s environment management has been focused on to improve enforcement and effectiveness. The Department continued to supervise the classification of daily wastes at their sources of 12 organizations and individuals along National Highway number 13 and localities in planning of Provincial People’s Committee. In the meantime, Provincial People’s Committee reported the general outcomes of waste classification in Binh Duong Province in 2017-2018 and implementation plan in 2020. Coordination will be made with Biwase to fulfill the flow clearance and environment sanitation on rivers and dykes in 2020 (stage 2)

Besides, the Department organized the meeting to check environment impact reports of 68 projects and approve 44 others along with 25 environment protection schemes. The implementation of environment protection constructions are to be checked and certified to service 16 projects under environment impact reporting, of the projects, certificates were issued to 7 projects.
