Traffic safety contest kicks off

For traffic safety education at middle and high school levels in 2020-2021 school year, Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with National Traffic Safety Committee and Honda Vietnam Company held the contest “Traffic safety for tomorrow's smile ”.

The students' competition consisted of two rounds: Round 1 contest about knowledge of traffic safety, Law of Road Traffic, and essay; Round 2 exchange of knowledge and skills of safe traffic, for students with excellent results in round one. For teachers, round 1 test on traffic safety knowledge, Law on Road Traffic, essays and experience on traffic safety teaching for students or handling pedagogical situations; Round 2 was for teachers with excellent results in the first round.

In terms of test format, students and teachers participated in online tests by answering questions directly and attaching essay. As planned, round 1 took place from January 13 to February 6. In the fourth week of March 2021, the second round contest will be held for students and teachers with excellent results in the first round; then summarizing and awarding ceremony will be held.
