The tropical low pressure will then move cross the central region of the Philippines and enter the East Sea where it is expected to strengthen into a typhoon, the 10th such storm this year.
The Centre forecasts intense winds and rough sea will occur in the East Sea as of 12:01am September 13. Boats and vessels are advised to avoid the dangerous waters over the next 24 hours.
Weather forecasters said some 13-15 typhoons and tropical low-pressures will occur in the East Sea this year with three to four making landfall on the mainland of Vietnam, primarily striking the central region.
