Vietnamese Talent Awards 2019 launched

The Vietnam Study Promotion Association held a joint press conference in collaboration with the Vietnam Post and the Telecommunications Group in Hanoi to launch the Vietnamese Talent Awards 2019 on April 18.

The competition seeks to find and honour Vietnamese talents across a range of different categories. The aim is to award those who have made breakthroughs in information technology (IT), applied science, pharmacy, medicine, and the environment.

With the theme “The Strength of Digital Transformation”, this year’s awards have affirmed the importance of keeping up to date with IT products and the application of the latest technologies.

This is necessary in order to stay abreast of the current trend of digital transformation as well as contributing to creating smart products and applications for the development of the digital economy.

Contestants will also have the opportunity to receive consultancy and support from a number of leading IT experts when taking part in the IT innovation start up category.

The first, second, and third prize winners are to receive VND200 million, VND100 million, and VND50 million respectively along with other valuable prizes from funding agencies

The ceremony for the competition is scheduled to be held in Hanoi on November 20.
