Focusing on developing organic and ecological agriculture in association with tourism development

According to a report by provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province's farming land is now 142,772 hectares for rubber, fruit, cashew, pepper trees, and other perennial crops. Of these, there are 580 hectares of farming land applying organic standards with crops such as oranges, pomelos, vegetables of all kinds. There are 413 individuals and organizations applying VietGAP standards.

Currently, the province's main fruits are consumed domestically, with the average output 10,800 tons per year. The province’s agricultural products have reached a number of the world’s markets, namely the United States, Australia, Japan, Singapore, EU, China, New Zealand...

The province’s agriculture orientation to 2030 is to develop high-tech, organic and ecological agriculture, in association with tourism development. The province’s southern urban areas focus on urban agriculture development.
