Project on model of updating GIS data in construction industry deployed

In a bid to implement economic restructuring in association with the model of growth, improvement of productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the digital economy and digital society, over the past 9 months, provincial Department of Construction (DoC) implemented a project applying the model of updating the construction sector’s GIS data under the project of 3D GIS application and 3D city models in urban management and construction activities. In addition, provincial DoC issued and implemented the Plan No. 1528/KH-SXD dated April 22, 2022 on digital transformation to 2025, with orientations to 2030.

From now until year-end, provincial DoC will continue reviewing and coordinating with relevant units to upgrade its website to ensure the provision of online public services at levels 3 and 4; implement projects on geographic information systems and specialized softwares on construction, maintain and update the database of the GIS system in construction; organize the digitization of administrative documents under the roadmap of provincial People's Committee.
