Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to stabilize the essential commodity market in 2023, the Tet (Lunar New) festival 2023 and cope with the Covid-19 pandemic in the new normal period in the province.

Aeon supermarket continues being selected to participate in stabilizing goods in 2023

Accordingly, provincial People's Committee has required sectors and localities to direct businesses and traditional markets to stockpile essential goods and stabilize prices, with a focus on the period before, during and after the Tet festival (from December 1, 2022 to March 1, 2023), then continue deploying in the remaining months of 2023. Essential goods for the people include: Foodstuff (rice, sticky rice... ); technology foods (sugar, milk, seasoning powder, cooking oil, dipping sauce, beverage, instant noodles, confectionery...); fresh foods (cattle, poultry meat, chicken eggs, duck eggs, vegetables, fruits...); processed foods (spring rolls, sausages, sausages...); petroleum products; medicine for human treatment and goods for pandemic prevention and control (masks, medical equipment for pandemic prevention and control, biological products for quick test, etc.).

The total value of goods in reserve is more than VND 6.07trillion (excluding gasoline, medicine, masks, medical equipment for pandemic prevention, biological products for rapid testing, etc.). Of the total value, about VND 2.1trillion will be for the period before, during and after Tet. The pork market will be also stabilized with 7,800 tons per month, ensuring to serve the needs of the people.

Provincial People's Committee has requested provincial Department of Industry and Trade to direct supermarkets and companies participating in stabilizing the local pork market to commit to ensuring the quantity and selling at the registered stabilization price that is 5-10% lower than market price. For petroleum products, Thanh Le Import-Export Trading Corporation and Song Be Petroleum One Member Co.Ltd. have been ordered to ensure adequate supply for the local gasoline system, with the expected increase of 10 to 12% over the same period in 2021.

Provincial People's Committee has required provincial Department of Health to direct drugstores across the province to stabilize human medicine, pandemic prevention and control products (masks, medical equipment for pandemic prevention and control, biological products for quick test …) and disseminate  retail prices set by the health sector for health stations in communes, wards and townships, ensuring sufficient quantity to serve at hospitals and residential areas.
