Additional 838 students to be given online learning devices

From the funds mobilized, provincial Department of Education and Training has had a plan to allocate them to the Divisions of Education and Training, high schools in the province to implement the program of “Waves and computers for children". Recipients are students from poor, near-poor households and those whose father or mother died due to Covid-19 pandemic without equipment for online learning.

Accordingly, provincial Department of Education and Training allocated over VND1.7 billion to its branches to purchase 686 online learning devices for needy students. High schools and continuing education and professional training centers in the province were also provided VND 380 million to buy 152 equipment for online learning. Thus, with a total budget of more than VND2billion, there will be 838 students belonging to the above subjects to be awarded online learning devices in the near future.
