The Thai Tourism Authority (TAT) is planning to stage the NASA Space Exhibition for the first time in Bangkok in December.
The one-month event, themed “A Human Ride Adventure”, is set to commemorate the 180th anniversary of Thailand-US relations. It also highlighted the capability of Thai space technology and initiative, especially when all regional countries are moving towards the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community.
The exhibition will feature four zones: Space technology, Ride, Souvenir and Space Café. Visitors have chances to marvel at an amazing range of NASA spacecraft, starting from Mercury and Gemini to Apollo and the Space Shuttle.
Russian space technology, including replicas of the Sputnik satellite and lunar survey rover Lunokhod, will be also on display.
The Ride zone will focus on thrilling space experiences while the Souvenir zone is set to offer a wide variety of space souvenirs. The Space Café zone will provide an opportunity for visitors to experience space atmosphere and special space cuisine.
