On the afternoon of November 28th, a delegation from the Education Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China, led by Liu Huanxi, Director of the Education Department, paid a visit to Binh Duong to explore potential cooperation in education and training. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting with the delegation. The event was also attended by leaders from various departments and sectors.

At the meeting, Mr. Ha provided the delegation with information about the province's socio-economic development. To date, Binh Duong has established friendly cooperative relations with 14 foreign localities, including Guangzhou city in China. In terms of education and training, Binh Duong currently has 8 universities with over 32,000 students as well as nearly 800 schools at kindergarten to high school levels, with more than 500,000 students.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Liu Huanxi stated that the purpose of this visit was to promote educational exchanges between the two sides, particularly in vocational education. He expressed a desire for Binh Duong to strongly support cooperation between Dong An High-Tech College and Guangxi Vocational and Technical Transportation Academy. Mr. Liu Huanxi also emphasized the importance of strengthening people-to-people exchanges and relations between the two sides. He hoped that vocational education exchanges would serve as a starting point to foster closer cooperation between Guangxi and Binh Duong, with a goal of expanding exchanges of teachers, staff and other personnel to jointly promote the development of high-quality vocational education.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen affirmed that Binh Duong has always provided the best conditions for fostering cooperation between the two sides and strongly supported the proposals put forward by the delegation from the Education Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, particularly in the fields of vocational training as well as the exchange of teachers and students between the two provinces. He highlighted that these initiatives are in line with the direction that Binh Duong is aiming for.
