The 2nd Modern dance contest 2013 has ended at provincial Youth Activity Center with many new and attractive performances. This was also a meeting of many dance groups in the province. Winners at the 2nd Binh Duong Modern Dance Contest 2013 The contest gathered 7 provincial modern dance groups with 7 performances giving audiences excited moments with different emotions. Some noticeable performances were: Sound of life (Moon Light group), Computer (T&T), Bollywood (Fear 4Q)… The common thing of performances was creativeness, enthusiasm, and passion for dancing of young people.To contestants, the daily training of dancing has become their fondness, and participation in this contest was to exchange and learn each other. Nguyen Minh Toan (Moon Light dance group) said: “We take part in this contest in order to communicate and express zeal of the youth. Thanks to the competition, group members will be mature and can learn more about skills of performing and staging”.Based on criteria of choreography, background music combination, difficulty level of the performance and costumes, organizers conferred the first prize on T&T group, second prize Moon Light group, and third prize Gear 4Q. Dance groups of Bg Enter Crew, Fear, My Step and Enter Crew received console prizes. Artist Tran Tan Thong, Chairman of Vietnam Dance Artist Association at Binh Duong province, said: “Although the number of contestants was smaller than last year, dancing groups still maintained their performance and formation with good techniques. And there were some newly established groups performing energetically, like: Enter Crew, Fear 4Q.
