Binh Duong provincial authority expects to pay VND 228 billion to support people during the Lunar New Year 2022

In the morning of January 4, at the provincial Administration Center, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to Department of Finance report on the plan to spend money for the Lunar New Year 2022 in the province.

According to the proposal, the province's total expenditure for the Lunar New Year 2022 is VND 227 billion 895 million, an increase of 6% compared to 2021. The basic objects and spending levels remain the same as the 2021 Lunar New Year. In which, the highest spending is VND 4 million and the lowest is VND 500,000.

At the meeting, the delegates focused on discussing and proposing additional support policies for people working in quarantined areas for treatment of F0 during Tet including experts, officials and soldiers, doctors, service staff etc. Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha basically agreed with the plan to support the 2022 Lunar New Year as proposed by Department of Finance. At the same time, he requested the Department of Finance to coordinate with the Department of Health and relevant units to review and balance the support expenditures for those serving in the concentrated COVID-19 treatment areas.
