Binh Duong ready for Dong Nam Bo Judo Open Tournament 2024

November 23 at the Bình Duong provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, the opening ceremony of the Dong Nam Bo Judo Open Tournament 2024 takes place. As the host team, Bình Dương has completed the final preparations, ready to welcome the participating teams.

Accordingly, at this year's tournament, Binh Duong Judo participated with two teams, Binh Duong 1 and 2, along with 7 other units, including the National Sports Training Center of Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh city, Tra Vinh, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho, and the Military Block.

At the tournament, athletes compete in various events, including male and female sparring, male and female team events, and kata competitions. Male athletes compete in weight categories from under 50kg to under 90kg. Meanwhile, female athletes will compete in weight categories from under 42kg to under 70kg. Specifically, in the kata event, three kata will be performed according to regulations, including Nage No Kata, Juno Kata, and Kodokan Goshin Jutsu.
