Binh Duong welcomes over 1.6 mln tourists

As of late May 2014, Binh Duong developed additional 10 hotels, motels with 235 rooms with a total registered capital of VND68.5bln. There were also additional 4 travel companies during the period. So far, the whole province has had a total of 238 hotels, motels together with 24 travel companies…

The province in the first half of 2014 welcomed more than 1.6 mln tourist arrivals (including 76,000 foreign arrivals and more than 1.6 mln domestic arrivals) or 40% of the year’s plan with a total revenue of VND495bln or 45.8% of the year’s plan.

Regarding tourism promotion, the province also took part in the 10th Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Festive Day 2014 organized by HCM city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; published Binh Duong’s map of tourism and reprinted Binh Duong’s handbook of tourism; designed a website on Binh Duong’s tourism…
