Binh Duong well controls pandemic, creating clean environment for enterprises to resume operations

*Provincial Party Committee Secretary visits, encourages foreign experts with Covid-19 being treated

On the morning of September 24, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, Head of provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, leaders of provincial Industrial Parks’ Management Board visited, encouraged leaders and employees of Saigon Stec Co., Ltd. in the VSIP II in Thu Dau Mot city’s Hoa Phu ward.

In the visiting place, Mr. Loi  extended regards to the company’s staff and grasped the operational situation of the company under the "3 on-site” production model over the past time while having an online working session with the group's leaders to hear their proposals for production activities at the factory in Binh Duong. The company's leaders also wanted that the province will continue supporting social welfare and joining hands with the company to take good care of the lives of workers affected by Covid-19 pandemic; create conditions for the company to bring its experts back to Binh Duong to stabilize production activities. Sharing difficulties with the company, due to the impact of the pandemic, Mr. Loi said that the province has been focusing on controlling the pandemic well. The province will also implement plans to ensure safety from enterprises’ production activities in association with the local Covid-19 prevention and control, creating a clean production environment, and ensuring measures against the infection of Covid-19 pandemic among workers, with focus on conducting vaccination against Covid-19 on workers and people in the province, increasing herd immunity. As for the company’s proposal to bring experts from Bac Giang to Binh Duong to enhance operations at the factory, the province will guide the company with necessary procedures as prescribed so that its experts can be soon present to stabilize operations. Mr.Loi also noted that in terms of the appearance of F0 cases, the company needs to tighten exit-entry regulations…, thereby helping it prevent the source of pandemic infection from outside.

Mr.Loi also encouraged workers at the factory while wanting that they will continue joining hands with the province to overcome difficulties caused by the pandemic and well implement the "5K" messages of the Ministry of Health when working as well as making daily activities, contributing to limiting pandemic transmission and stabilizing production activities. He said that in the coming time, the province will continue deploying the second shot of Covid-19 vaccines for people and workers; organize mobile clinics and medical stations to bring healthcare closer to people and enterprises; organize periodic health check-ups for workers in enterprises, thereby opportunely detecting and taking F0 cases to treatment facilities in order to prevent pandemic infection in factories.

*On the same day, Mr.Loi and members of the delegation went to Phuong Chi General Hospital in Thu Dau Mot city’s Dinh Hoa ward to visit and encourage doctors and nurses who are treating more than 10 Covid-19 patients, including foreign experts, from Saigon Stec Co., Ltd.

Mr.Loi directly visited and encouraged the patients who are foreign experts being treated at the hospital and wanted that doctors and nurses here will continue monitoring and actively treating the patients so that they can quickly recover health and soon return to the factory. He also wanted that together with other non-public hospitals, Phuong Chi General Hospital will join hands with the local health sector to set up clinics, bringing them closer to enterprises in industrial parks and people; consider these clinics as their "extension arm" in giving public healthcare for people, especially accompanying the local health sector to continue  well performing treatment for Covid-19 patients, contributing to effectively carrying out the local fight against the pandemic.
