In order to maintain the "green zone" and stabilize people's lives, Di An city is taking drastic measures including continual deployment of solutions to help businesses restore production and create incentives for the "dual-goal" task.

As one of the leading enterprises in implementing the province's policies on solutions to both fight the epidemic and produce, Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co. Ltd. in Di An city has implemented epidemic prevention and control measures according to the regulations and direction of the province and functional agencies. In order to stabilize production, the company has implemented many solutions to support employees with accommodation, on-site production and overcoming difficult times. Currently, there are nearly 1,300 workers at the company who are implementing the "3 on-site" option and about 70% of these have been vaccinated.

Di An city is speeding up the progress of vaccinating the entire population to soon achieve herd immunity and bring itself back to the "new normal state."

Mr. Meguro Minoru, General Director of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co. Ltd. said that by strictly implementing Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control measures, the company's production is still being maintained. However, due to the impact of the epidemic, production of enterprises has decreased compared to previous months. However, the enterprise still ensures the benefits for its employees such as allowance of VND 250,000 a day for workers working under "3 on the site" solution; workers who do not come to the company to work are still paid 70% of the total salary.

Currently, although it is gradually returning to the "new normal state", the Covid-19 controllin process at the company is also strictly conducted. 100% of employees who come to work will have their temperature checked, make medical declaration, and especially sign a commitment to strictly abide by the regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control at work and accommodation. Periodically, every week, it organizes testing for SARS-CoV-2 for employees.

Facing the extremely complicated developments of Covid-19 epidemic, businesses in Di An city have well implemented the prevention, control and safety of workers, thereby, ensuring conditions to maintain production and business operations. According to the leader of Ton Dong A Joint Stock Company in Song Than 1 Industrial Park of Di An city, thanks to the policy of allowing employees to stay and work at the enterprise campus, the company has helped preserve human resources and maintain production activities to meet the needs of their partners. Up to now, preparing to enter a new phase, the company is preparing to welcome 100% of employees back to work, but epidemic prevention is strictly controlled more than before. Recently, despite being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, enterprises have still been trying to maintain production with 620 out of 800 employees, accounting for 77.5% of the staff. The production situation of the factory is relatively stable as the output is 65,000 - 68,000 tons and the production capacity is 100%. Products are mainly exported to America and Europe. This year, the company is expected to achieve revenue of VND 14,000 billion, which is VND 12,500 billion higher than last year.

In order to be ready for production and fight the epidemic in the "new normal state", Mr. Le Van Hoang, Director of Green Speed Company Limited at Dong Hoa ward in Di An city, said that to adapt to production and fight against the epidemic as well as determining to live with the Covid-19 epidemic in the near future, right now, the business wants to quickly inject 2 doses of vaccine for employees.

Di An city is zoning high-risk areas to control the epidemic while narrowing the "red zones" and expanding the "green zones". Enterprises are still only allowed to organize production and business operations when they have tested and screened all workers and employees to meet the conditions. Before entering the factory, the entire factory area must be disinfected according to regulations and samples are takenfor testing and screening twice. During the operations, production and organization of screening tests for SARS-CoV-2 by rapid antigen test or testing by RT-PCR method of pooled samples to be performed every 5 days. Daily testing for people receiving, transporting goods, and food moving in and out of enterprises are conducted. The operational role of Covid-19 safety teams in enterprises is promoted.

Mr. Vo Anh Tuan, Deputy Chairman of People's Committee of Di An city, said that the city is developing a plan to allow businesses in "green areas" to operate normally again and arrange accommodation for workers to ensure safety in the working environment of production processes. The models of "3 on the spot", "1 route, 2 destinations", "3 green (green factory, green accommodation, andgreen worker) in the "green zone"" are maintained. Currently, in the city, there are nearly 300 businesses registered for the "3 on spot" and "1 route, 2 destinations" plan. The city will continue to implement many solutions to help businesses achieve their goals of Covid-19 prevention and control while bringing business and production activities back to the "new normal state". The most priority task now is to control the epidemic as soon as possible in the remaining months of 2021 to gradually reopen activities and help the economy of Di An city recover with expectation to regain growth momentum.
