Conference on Singapore's greening journey under good preparation

Early August 9, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee chaired a meeting to hear a report on the plan to organize a conference to introduce the greening journey of Singapore and thoroughly grasp, orient goals and tasks on green tree development and environmental protection at provincial Integrated Administration Center.

The event was attended by Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Pham Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Becamex IDC.

The purpose of the conference is to introduce the journey of greening Singapore to cadres and Party members in the political system, thereby helping them have more information as well as grasping and raising awareness about green tree development and environmental protection in sustainable urban construction while orienting the goals and tasks of developing green trees and protecting the environment in the province. The conference will be organized in the online form on August 14.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Thao asked for relevant agencies and units to step up propaganda work. The venue of the event must ensure conditions on material facilities, with participants expanded to  communal-level cadres, civil servants and people. He also requested relevant units to closely coordinate to ensure good preparation so that the conference will take place successfully.
