Conference to monitor the results of settlement of voters' opinions and recommendations

In the afternoon of December 1, at the provincial Administration Center, the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council held a conference to monitor the results of settlement of voters' opinions and recommendations submitted to the 6th session of the 10th provincial People's Council. Attendees were Mai Hung Dung - Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, and Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong – Deputy Chair of the provincial People's Council and leaders of departments, divisions and branches.

Before and after the 6th meeting and before the annual meetings of the 10th provincial People's Council, the provincial People's Committee assigned relevant levels and branches to consider, settle and answer 236 recommendations and solved 146 out of 236 petitions, accounting for nearly 62% of the total number of comments and recommendations. At the conference, leaders of departments, branches, localities and units explained in detail the content of resolving voters' petitions, and at the same time, proposed solutions to further strengthen the coordination between the Standing People's Council and the People's Council and People's Committee to respond to voters' petitions to be perfectly meeting the people's aspirations.

Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong asked the provincial People's Committee to review and update the progress of settlement of outstanding petitions that have not been resolved so far, and proposed plans and measures to deal with them in the coming time, especially those contents that had been proposed by voters many times.
