Delegates of Provincial People's Council meet with local voters before year-end meeting

On the morning of November 15, a delegation of Provincial People's Council and Thu Dau Mot City People's Council had a meeting with voters in Phu Tan and Tuong Binh Hiep wards to prepare for the third session (held normally at the end of year).

At the meeting, voters were excited with results achieved by the province in general and Thu Dau Mot city in particular in recent years. Besides, voters also raised a number of issues related to urban renovation. Specifically, urban tree system must be regularly pruned to ensure safety; lights on alleys, traffic lights at intersections need to be installed to ensure traffic safety... In addition, people also gave opinions related to the granting of construction permits, registration of temporary residence...

Delegates of the Provincial People's Council, Thu Dau Mot City People's Council, and leaders of People's Committees of wards answered and clarified existing issues, and would make recommendations to relevant functional departments, agencies for settlement.

l In the morning of the same day, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council and Thuan An City People's Council had a meeting with voters of An Thanh ward.

At the meeting, representatives of Provincial People's Council and City People's Council informed voters of operation results of Provincial People's Council and City People's Council in 2021; the content of the year-end regular meetings of Provincial People's Council and City People's Council; reported on performance results of delegates of Provincial People's Council and City People's Council; responded to voters' opinions at previous voter meetings. Delegates of Provincial People's Council and City People's Council discussed and clarified issues of voter's concern; and voters' opinions and recommendations will be proposed to competent agencies for settlement in the near future.

In the afternoon, representatives of Provincial People's Council and Thuan An City People's Council met with voters of An Son commune before the year-end meeting.

At the meeting, a summary on activities of Provincial and City People's Councils in 2021 and orientations, tasks in 2022 were presented; expected content and agenda of the year-end meeting session of 2021 were also informed. Voters also got answers to their opinions at the last meeting session.

Voters of An Son commune also gave opinions and recommendations about the extension of An Son 24 road which has not been updated on the map, there are still shortcomings in administrative procedures of residential land; it is necessary to review the cessation of support to people's orchards under Decision 63 of the province; tuition fee exemption and reduction for students for the whole school year because of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic…

Leaders of An Son commune and the city explained and clarified the issues, and continued to propose voter's opinions and recommendations to competent agencies for settlement in the next meeting.

l On the afternoon of November 15, a delegation of People's Councils of the province and Dau Tieng District had a meeting with voters in Dau Tieng town.

Voters of Dau Tieng town proposed that competent authorities needed to pay attention to problems of households located in Dau Tieng airport area; repair degraded traffic roads; the settlement of regimes for households affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; some issues related to the selection and enlistment of citizens in 2022…

People's Council's delegates gave their opinions, answered questions, and will summarized opinions then send to relevant authorities to give answers to voters as soon as possible.
