Update: 29-09-2021 | 16:34:55

Immediately after the epidemic would be well controlled, in Binh Duong, enterprises will have many plans to maintain the supplying chain to continue to maintain and expand production, overcome difficulties and challenges, and drastically achieve growth goals.

Retaining production

Ms. Nguyen Van, Deputy Chairwoman of Supply in Southeast Asia of ADIDAS Group, said that she shared with Binh Duong's difficulties before the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and thanked the provincial leaders for their help by creating favorable conditions for enterprises in Covid-19 prevention and control and vaccination for workers. However, according to Ms. Van, the epidemic has disrupted the supplying chain, and the "3 on the spot" model is not suitable for a labor-intensive industries. Ms. Van wants the province to gradually ease it so that businesses could restart production on the basis of strictly applying measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

Leaders of business associations in the province such as textile, garment, leather shoes and bags, wood processing etc. also want to unify nationwide regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control by facilitating production recovery. According to the provincial Textile and Garment Association, from the beginning of July, due to the epidemic, many textile and garment factories have had to suspend production because they could not meet the "3 on the spot" or "1 route, 2 destinations" options. Textile and garment enterprises are facing many difficulties and expect the province to have specific instructions to restore production and help them complete the signed orders.

The promising “3 green” model

With the advantage of returning to the "green zone", Mr. Tran Van Phuong, Deputy Chairman of Bac Tan Uyen district People's Committee, said that the district is currently working closely with industrial parks to organize the "3 green" model. Through the survey, the option can be completely implemented with the initiative of enterprises and support from all levels of authorities. The district has assigned each locality to closely monitor each living area by promoting the role of the residential groups in jointly supervising businesses. All are aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to restore production together with the locality to maintain the "green zones" and socio-economic development in the "new normal conditions.”

The production arrangement is also in groups of accommodations for easy control in the event that infection may occur. “At 21 hostels with 900 workers, we organize transportation for workers to work and provide 3 meals at the production site and absolutely do not let workers use personal vehicles to move. We also always encourage workers, in the epidemic, to stay healthy and working is the first priority. Workers are also very supportive of the plans offered by the company," said Mr. Hai.

Depending on the conditions of the enterprise, a strict process will be built to ensure the safety of production.

According to Mr. Tran Quang Tuyen, Deputy Chairman of Dau Tieng district People's Committee, so far in the district, 19 enterprises with more than 6,600 employees have registered for the "3 green" model. The district People's Committee is also urgently organizing the inspection, appraisal and approval of production plans of enterprises that want to return to production. On the basis of thoroughly grasping the principle of "safety and production must be safe", the method requires companies to strictly implement Covid-19 prevention and control measures to organize periodic testing for workers and so on.
