Early March 15, provincial Consumer Right Protection Association held a conference to evaluate its operational results in 2021 and set out activities for 2022, in attendance of Nguyen Thi Ngoc Trang, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam Consumer Right Protection Association together with nearly 250 representatives from branches and localities.
In 2021, provincial Consumer Right Protection Association strengthened law dissemination; attached special importance to counseling, supporting and dealing with complaints settlement; coordinated with provincial Department of Industry and Trade, other departments, setors and the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize activities in response to Vietnam’s Consumer Rights Day; propagandize the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”... As of now, provincial Consumer Right Protection Association has had all branches of districts, towns, cities, 100 groups and clubs of consumer right protection, bringing its total number of members 21,486 together with 14 associate members. In 2022, the association will focus on 5 tasks, including further developing at least 150 new members for each branch to support consumers more effectively.
Speaking at the conference, Mrs.Trang highly appreciated the efforts by provincial Consumer Right Protection Association and members. In 2022, the association needs to further implement 5 specific activities, comprising of further organizing practical activities with enterprises while associating with industries ‘associations to propagandize and well implement consumer right protection in order to effectively implement the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights...
