Good results attained in foreign affairs and investment promotion

According to Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, from beginning of this year, external activities, trade promotion and investment cooperation, friendship cooperation with foreign localities and partners have been further promoted. During the year, the province sent 44 delegations of leaders to promote investment, survey and learn experience abroad; organized 11 online seminars and 9 online conferences on investment promotion with foreign countries and territories.

In particular, the province signed a strategic cooperation agreement between Binh Duong and Gangnam district, Seoul (Korea), between Binh Duong province and Champasak province (Laos) in 2022-2026 period; successfully hosted the Horasis India Meeting 2022, Meet Korea 2022 in Binh Duong on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam and Japan diplomatic relations.

The province's external activities in recent years have contributed to excellent results of foreign investment attraction into the province. From the beginning of this year to November 15, Binh Duong province has attracted 2 billion 845 million USD of FDI capital (reaching 158% target, up 37% compared to 2021). Up to now, the province has attracted 4,079 FDI projects with a total registered capital of 39.67 billion USD.
