Industrial production increases by 8.3% over previous term

According to the Bureau of Statistics, the province's index of industrial production (IIP) in July 2023 increased by 2.3% over the previous month and by 8.3% over the same period in 2022. In which, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 2.3% over the previous month and by 8.6% over the same period. Products with the index increased from the previous month such as coffee increased by 6.8%, yarn by 4.1%, clothes by 6.2%, sports shoes by 2.1% among others. Besides, products with declining indexes such as animal feed, poultry, aquatic products decreased by 0.6%, paints and varnishes 5.8%, sawn timber 0.4%, and plastic packaging 0.4%.

Also according to the Bureau of Statistics, in the 7 months of 2023, the manufacturing industries of rubber and plastic products increased by 0.2%, production of drugs, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal materials by 5%, and production of electronic products, computers and optical products by 4.3%.
