Meeting held to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the traditional Student Day

Morning of January 8, the Standing Committee of Thu Dau Mot city Youth Union held a meeting to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the traditional Student Day and the Vietnamế Student Association (January 9, 1950 to January 9, 2023). In the years of construction and growth, the Vietnamese Student Association has the glorious history, marking many brilliant milestones in the protection, construction and development of the country. In Thu Dau Mot city, student movements have also developed strongly, and many typical examples have appeared. At the program, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union honored 29 students with the title of "3-criterium Good Student" - a prestigious and noble title for high school students with excellent achievements on Academic, Moral and Physical criteria.

On the occasion, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union also organized a skill training program for "Volunteer Clubs of High Schools" and future orientation and skill training for "Access to digital transformation" among union members and high school students

Morning of January 7, Di An city Youth Union cooperated with the local Division of Education and Training to organize a program to commend students of excellence, award scholarships to 12th grade students with excellent achievements in difficult situation and organize the art contest of "Welcoming the new spring". Accordingly, the Youth Union coordinated to commend 13 students who won the titles. In addition, the Youth Union awarded 16 scholarships to 12th grade students who overcome difficulties to study well; each package is worth VND 500,000. On the occasion, the Youth Union cooperated with the Division of Education and Training of the city to organize the art competition of "Welcoming the new spring". The competition was participated by 8 teams from preschools in the city. The teams performed songs praising the CPV, the country, President Ho Chi Minh and a musical performance to celebrate the spring.
