Update: 09-10-2021 | 13:14:09

In the morning of October 8, Dau Tieng district held a meeting to discuss the planning of industrial clusters in the district for 2021-2030. Representatives of relevant provincial divisions attended the meeting.

Currently, in addition to the operating Thanh An industrial cluster, Dau Tieng district, in the coming time, will ask for the province's policy to plan to develop 8 more industrial parks with a total area of about 7,057 hectares and 12 industrial clusters with a total additional area of about 864.94ha. Most of the land fund planned for industrial zones and clusters is expected to be taken from rubber land under the restructuring of Dau Tieng Rubber One Member Limited Liability Company.

Speaking at the meeting, a representative of the provincial department asked Dau Tieng district to study and evaluate the feasibility of industrial development; to clearly define the land fund for planning industrial zones and clusters in accordance with the actual needs and development capacity of the locality. In addition, the locality needs to consider decisive factors such as goods circulation infrastructure, methods of attracting investors and workers, etc.; to develop priority plan to attract economic models of sustainability, technology, and high ‘gray matter’ combined with preserving and protecting the living environment.

Towards the goal of comprehensive economic development of the locality, it will support the planning for the development of industrial zones and clusters as the district's orientation. However, in order for the planning and development of industrial zones and clusters to be synchronized and effective, the district needs to identify the leading factor that is urban construction planning, infrastructure connecting internal and interregional transport. In addition, the locality also needs to plan and develop a social housing system for workers and low-income workers among others.
