MoLISA’s delegation works with Binh Duong

On the afternoon of October 27, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee received a delegation of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), led by Deputy Minister of the MoLISA Le Van Thanh.

At the meeting, provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) reported on the implementation of policies on social welfare and support for employees and employers facing difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic; the situation of rice support and social welfare policies; the situation of labor shortage and propose solutions to recover and develop the local labor market. After hearing opinions on advantages, disadvantages and petitions, Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh spoke highly of achievements done by the province while sharing difficulties and losses with the province over the past time. The drastic direction and efforts of the province in supporting policy packages have contributed to helping people feel secure, workers be less difficult, production and business activities be maintained...The province needs to further urge departments, agencies and sectors to quickly settle payment of support packages for employees and employers, carefully recheck the local labor market for timely solutions...

Mr.Ha said that the pandemic has been well controlled and showed positive signs. The province will acquire contributive ideas by members of the delegation, continue rechecking a list of beneficiaries, guide and support localities to accelerate the settlement of support policies for employers and employees. Especially, the province will pay attention to policies on providing loans for employers to pay wages and continue their operations.... In addition, the province will also further give support on labor resources for enterprises in case of having labor shortage, ensuring no interruption of production chains...

*Earlier, the delegation had a working session with leaders of Tan Uyen town about the implementation of social welfare policies for employees and employers facing difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic.

After hearing opinions of sectors and leaders of the town, Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh shared with difficulties and losses of the locality over the past time. The town's Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control excelled at implementing policies on social welfare for targeted people

Regarding support policies for business households and unemployment insurance, Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh suggested provincial Social Insurance to facilitate support spending for the local subjects in a flexible, correct and sufficient form. The town needs to be proactive to recheck a list of beneficiaries and deploy support policies to them.
