Province attracts more FDI projects with great capital

According to provincial Department of Planning and Investment, Taiwan (China) in the first 6 months of 2021 took the lead in terms of investment capital in the province with 5 projects totaling more than US$ 657 million or 46.7% of the province’s newly-registered capital. Of these, there are 2 projects with great capital, including the synthetic fiber making factory of Polytex Far Eastern (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. in the Bau Bang Industrial Park with total investment capital of US$1.31 billion; the paper making factory of Cheng Loong Binh Duong Paper Co., Ltd in the Protrade International Industrial Park with total investment capital of US$ 1.1 billion.

Singapore ranked second with 5 projects capitalized at nearly US$ 323 million or more than 22.9% of the province’s total newly registered capital. Of these, there were New Motion Industry Co. Ltd.’s factory manufacturing radio screen and display products in the Phu Tan Industrial Park, with investment capital of US$ 185 million; Emergent Vietnam Logistics Development Pte Co.’s ECPVN Binh Duong 2 Logistics Center in the Tan Dong Hiep B Industrial Park, with investment capital of US$ 34.4 million. Taiwanese and Singaporean enterprises that were granted new investment certificates in the first months of 2021 said they will quickly build more workshops in order to put their factories into operation and stabilize production and business activities.
