Provincial Farmers ‘Association well upholds role in new-style rural construction, poverty reduction…

On the afternoon of January 6, provincial Farmers’Association held its 6^th open Executive Board congress for the 2018-2023 tenure while reviewing activities in 2020.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Under the new-style rural construction program, the association last year mobilized members, farmers to donate land, make many other contributions to building rural roads with a total value of VND15.5billion. The association also mobilized members, farmers to fund construction of 6 “great unity” houses with a total cost of VND410million…In addition, the association considered and disbursed loans for 1,290 households to develop 97 projects on animal husbandry, cultivation; launched the emulation movement of “good farmer in production-business”, contributing to the local poverty reduction…

On this occasion, provincial Farmers ‘Association awarded the certificates of merit to 4 district-level branches winning the “Excellent unit” title (photo);  8 collectives, 18 individuals with excellent achievements last year…
