Tet gifts offered to disadvantaged workers and orphans

On the afternoon of December 27, leaders of the province and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visited and presented 141 Tet gifts to workers with extremely difficult circumstances and orphans whore parents died due to Covid-19 pandemic at lodging facilities in Thuan An and Thu Dau Mot cities.

It is known that each gift given for employees with extremely difficult circumstances includes VND1 million in cash and necessities. Whilst, each gift for orphans, due to Covid-19 pandemic, includes VND 5 million in cash and necessities.

*At the lodging in Hoa Phu ward’s quarter 5 in Thu Dau Mot city, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, extended Tet greetings and offered 51 Tet gifts to employees and an orphan staying here.

*At Tu Quyen lodging in Thuan Giao ward’s Hoa Lan 2 quarter in Thuan An City, Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union Confederation visited, encouraged and offered gifts to two orphans, namely Nguyen Van Ha and Nguyen Ky Nam. It is known that two brothers, Ha and Nam, had no father, and their mother died of Covid-19 pandemic. The delegation also gave 36 gifts for workers with disadvantaged people at Tu Quyen lodging facility.

*At Quang Minh lodging facility in Binh Hoa ward’s Dong An 1 quarter in Thuan An city, Nguyen Dinh Khanh and Ong Thi Hoang Mai, Vice-Chairpersons of provincial Labor Union visited, presented 50 gifts to workers while encouraging them to overcome difficulties and rise up...
