Thailand reported 27 new cases of COVID-19 on April 20, lifting the country’s total to 2,792 cases.
No new deaths were reported for the third consecutive day, according to the country’s centre for COVID-19 situation administration.
Thailand has so far had a total of 47 fatalities, with 1,999 patients fully recovering.
Last week, Thai Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said the country is still on top of the situation, with the government on high alert despite a stabilising trend in the number of new cases reported each day, in order to prevent any new clusters appearing./.
