By the contribution and support of resources of the social community, many meaningful gifts have been and are continuing to reach many disadvantaged people in the province to bring the Tet atmosphere closer to everyone and every home.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Redemption Association presented the 2022 Lunar New Year gift to a blind person in the province.

The meaningful spring market fairs

In order to join hands to take care of disadvantaged people in the ward and help them to have a warmer New Year, the Red Cross of Dong Hoa ward in Di An city has just coordinated with a sponsor to organize a "VND 0" spring market fair in 2022. In order to share some of the difficulties with people, Kim Khanh gold shop has supported resources to give 200 gifts to disadvantaged households in the ward with a total supporting value of VND 110 million. Each gift sent to the people is not only essential necessities, but also filled with the love and affection of donors and the ward Red Cross staff.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung, Chairwoman of the Red Cross of Dong Hoa Ward, said: “The program is very meaningful in showing the spirit of mutual love, mutual support, and solidarity to overcome difficulties in the lives of people. The gifts given to the people are small, but they are the affection of the association and the sponsors to contribute to the sharing and supporting people in difficulty during the coming Tet and spring holidays.

From the support resources, the Di An City Redemption Association has also organized a "0 dong" market in the spring of the Tiger in 2022. A warmer spring

Even though knowing that the pain of losing a father and/or mother is nothing that can be compensated, the care and sharing of the association have made the children and their families feel warmer when there is always a helping hand at their side sharing by the social community.

According to the plan, it is expected that during the Lunar New Year, the provincial Red Cross at all levels mobilize and give more than 46,500 Tet gifts to those who need support so that everyone has more conditions to welcome Tet full and warm.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the provincial Red Cross, said that supporting children whose parents died due to COVID-19 was a very meaningful job, contributing to alleviate the pain that children and their families might unfortunately face. In addition to the support of VND 5 million, the association also mobilized more gifts to give to the children to help them and their families with more conditions to celebrate the traditional Tet holiday in warmer manner.

According to Trinh, in order to ensure safety to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic, this year the provincial Red Cross will not organize a live TV program of "Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims" as in previous years. However, the association still mobilizes businesses and benefactors to support and contribute to share with poor and disadvantaged people in 9 districts, towns and cities. In the past few days, the provincial Red Cross has organized delegations to visit and give gifts to poor and disadvantaged people in the province. Especially, on this January 19, the provincial Red Cross will coordinate with Red Cross at all levels to simultaneously visit and give over 6,000 Tet gifts to poor, disadvantaged, blind people and Agent Orange victims as well as the subject of social protection in the localities; each gift is worth from VND 1 to 1.5 million.

"This year, despite the epidemic, donors and benefactors also faced many difficulties, but with the spirit of "mutual love and affection" of the Vietnamese people, donors are always concerned to take care of people with difficult circumstances in the province when spring and Tet come, especially to the poor. The provincial Red Cross will act as a bridge and bring these meaningful spring gifts to poor people in the province," said Trinh.
