From Binh Duong, a delegation of Thuan An City Youth Union carrying many Tet gifts to people in Bu Gia Map district of Binh Phuoc province. The atmosphere on Thursday morning in Dak O commune, Bu Gia Map district was animated, because "Thuan An youth journey for the country's border" and "Winter - Spring volunteer" programs took place here. At these programs, 30 gifts (each consisted of 500,000 VND in cash and gifts) were graciously handed over to each policy family, poor children, and young person having difficult circumstances in this commune.

As receiving the gifts, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nuong (Dak O commune) said: “I am very happy to receive this gift. In addition to notebooks, this Tet festival, I will also have beautiful clothes”. At Dak O Border Guard Station, vocals of soldiers here resonated together with union members, making the atmosphere here very jubilant. Spring melodies were played, making everyone feel that Tet is coming.

Pham Nguyen Phuong Tha, Secretary of Thuan An Youth Union, said that in "Thuan An youth journey for the country's border", a youth project worth 50 million VND and 1 ton of rice, 10,000 medical masks were presented to Dak O Border Guard Station.

To bring spring to ethnic minorities

At the border post of Loc Thien and Ong Ngang, Vuon Buoi hamlet, Loc Thien commune, Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province, the program "Spring together - Tet sharing" was also launched by Tan Hung commune Youth Union (Bau Bang district) with a series of activities aimed at poor students, disadvantaged people. The joy at receiving gifts was also expressed clearly on faces of the recipients. "Tet comes, the gifts make needy people like us feel heart-warmed," a resident here said.

Le Thi Thoa, Secretary of Tan Hung commune Youth Union, said that in order to uphold the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and pioneer, the responsibility of union members and young people in taking care of the material and spiritual lives of poor people, especially in remote, isolated, border areas, areas with many ethnic minorities, Tan Hung commune Youth Union held the program "Winter - Spring Volunteer" in 2022.

During the program, the Commune Youth Union gave 50 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to people and ethnic minority children having extremely difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the youth of Tan Hung commune also sent their best wishes to officers and soldiers of Loc Thien Border Guard Station, wished the soldiers good health protect in order to protect territorial integrity of the Fatherland and maintain peace for the people.
