To increase vaccination against Covid-19 for high-risk groups

Update: 17-01-2022 | 16:55:22

To reduce the risk of seriously ill patients, Provincial Department of Health has sent a document to medical units to accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination for people of high-risk groups. Accordingly, medical units intensify communication and encourage people to receive vaccination. Vaccination against Covid-19 reduces the risk of infection with SARS-CoV-2 virus, reduces the risk of severe disease and death, especially in people with underlying medical conditions and the elderly.

While enhancing dissemination, medical units need to diversify forms of injection and give injection as quickly as possible (organization of mobile vaccination vehicles, injection at home). The units providing vaccination for high-risk groups must be cautious at injection sites that are eligible for emergency post-injection reactions. Units that are not eligible, need to actively contact provincial hospitals and private medical facilities for support.

In case of refusals to receive vaccination, the units require people to sign a commitment to strictly observe the regulations on anti-pandemic measures. People must be held responsible if the spread of Covid-19 occurs, because they do not receive the vaccination.
