Tribute paid to quick responding police forces supporting Binh Duong

On November 14, Binh Duong provincial Police held a summary of coordination with the quick responding police forces of Ministry of Public Security in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic and ensuring security and order in the area. After being reinforced by the Ministry of Public Security, the provincial Police arranged 850 officers and soldiers of the quick responding police force (K02) at professional units and police of 9 districts, towns and cities. The provincial Public Security Directorate has directed units and localities to create all the best conditions for arranging accommodation, living and working places to fully implement the regimes and policies, vaccination, equipment and provision of necessary equipment so that police officers and soldiers can be mobile to ensure their health to actively support Binh Duong police in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic and assurance of security and order in the area.

The K02 forces coordinated with the forces of the provincial police to organize more than 305,000 patrols, over 255,000 checks to warn over 950,000 cases and sanction over 1,000 cases, to conduct verification of suspected cases of Covid-19 and quarantine for Covid-19 prevention and control on 127,000 cases. In addition, it also detected and sanctioned 209 cases related to crimes of all kinds such as theft, robbery, intentionally causing injury, resisting public officials, and forging documents of agencies and organizations. During the performance of the missions, more than 300 officers and soldiers were infected, but the they were still optimistic and brave enough with their duties and responsibilities.

To recognize the contributions of K02 officers and soldiers, the provincial police asked leaders at all levels to reward 662 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in their work. Specifically, 10 certificates of merit from the Ministry of Public Security, 64 certificates of merit from the provincial People's Committee, 22 certificates of merit from the provincial Youth Union, and 151 certificates of merit from the Director of the provincial Police have been awarded.
