The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced it will deploy a new service to facilitate customers with online check-in, allowing its passengers to obtain boarding passes on-line.
Accordingly, from June 25, passenger can bring boarding passes (printed or on a mobile device) collected through the online check-in system to security check points without having to go through check-in counters at airports.
The new service is available to passengers without checked baggage traveling on domestic flights departing from Noi Bai, Danang and Tan Son Nhat airports.
Passengers checking in online will be able to choose seats, and print or email boarding passes.
After completing online procedures, passengers must present their boarding passes and identification at security checks.
The service is available up to 24 hours in advance and two hours prior to the scheduled takeoff.
