The Ambassador named Ha Long Bay as the highlight of the numerous stunning destinations in Vietnam largely unknown to most Iranian tourists.
He underscored that Ha Long Bay, home to thousands of gorgeous caves and islands, is considered one of the most attractive landscapes in Southeast Asia.
He added that UNESCO designated the bay a World Heritage site of globally outstanding value in terms of natural landscape in 1994 and ecology and geomorphology in 2000.
Earlier, the Vietnamese Embassy in Tehran collaborated with the Eviva and Zzisi companies to introduce Vietnam’s tourism features, including Ha Long Bay, at a workshop aiming to bringing more Iranian tourists to the country, especially on the occasion of the Nowruz festival celebrating the Iranian New Year.
After the workshop, a number of Iranian travel companies designed tours for customers to visit Vietnam next month.
