The Vietnam International Furniture & Home Accessories Fair 2011 (VIFA 2011) will take place at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in HCM city’s district 7 from March 11 to 14, according to the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCM City (HAWA).

 Chairman of HAWA Nguyen Chien Thang said that VIFA 2011, organized by HAWA, expects to absorb 1,200 booths from businesses at home and abroad. The fair aims to help wood and handicraft businesses recover and increase their exports, consolidate and develop their traditional markets as well as the new ones.

During the fair, there will be seminars on important subjects relating to the wood and handicraft industry in order to help businesses in the industry gain more stable and sustainable development.
