Youths in Tan Uyen pay tribute to heroes, martyrs
Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union has organized many practical activities to educate the local Youth Union members about the significance of War Invalids and Matyrs’Day while improving their awareness in paying tribute to revolutionary contributors on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2020).
Accordingly, the town’s Youth Union held journeys to Ong temple relic site in Tan Hiep ward, Vinh Loi war zone relic site in Vinh Tan ward; visited and offered gifts to 7 heroic Vietnamese mothers; coordinated with the local Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to donate 20 gifts to 20 policy beneficiary families.
On this occasion, the town’s Youth Union is also expected to donate 26 gifts worth VND23.5million to the local policy beneficiary families.
