Phu Giao holds meeting to celebrate VPA's 80th anniversary

On the morning of December 12, Phu Giao district organized a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024); 35 years of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

Building on the heroic patriotic tradition of previous generations, the armed forces of Phu Giao district have achieved numerous feats and proud accomplishments that have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party, the State, and the community.

In addition to economic, cultural, and social growth, the political security situation and social order in the district remain stable and secure. The efforts to build reserve forces, militia, and self-defense units, as well as the recruitment of citizens to join the military, have consistently met their assigned targets. Furthermore, the grassroots movement to protect national security is continually upheld and developed.

On this occasion, the Chairman of Phu Giao District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 25 collectives and 55 individuals who excellently completed the special emulation tasks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day. In addition, the Phu Giao District Military Command also organized an exhibition of initiatives and improvements to the 2024 training tool model.
