Leaders of Binh Duong province receive religious dignitaries on Tet occasion

On the morning of January 26, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly, received visits of religious organizations extending Tet wishes to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front on occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022. Pham Van Chanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of agencies, branches also received the delegations.

At the meeting, representatives of Phu Cuong Bishop's Palace, Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in Binh Duong province, and Cao Dai Church of Tay Ninh province in Binh Duong province sent wishes for a joyful, peaceful and happy new year to leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front; At the same time, he expressed his belief and joy of the development in the province in the past year. In the upward development, provincial leaders always pay attention to and create favorable conditions for religious organizations to contribute to the common growth of the province.

The delegation of Phu Cuong Bishops visit and extend Tet wishes to the provincial leaders.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi informed religious organizations about  some of the results achieved in all fields of Binh Duong province, as well as the Covid-19 situation in 2021. To attain these results, there was an active contribution of dignitaries, followers of religious organizations in the province. The Party Secretary thanked and wished the dignitaries, followers of religious organizations to welcome the New Year 2022 with good health, peace, and a good life; and hoped that dignitaries, followers of religious organizations in the province would continue promoting the great unity of the whole nation, support the province, contribute to the socio-economic development, join hands to build Binh Duong province.

* Before that, Pham Van Chanh and representatives of relevant departments and branches received a delegation of Provincial Buddhist Sangha coming to send Tet wishes to Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee on occasion of Lunar New Year 2022.

At the meeting, Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Head of Provincial Buddhist Sangha, expressed the joy and confidence of the Buddhist community in the province's achievements in the past year, especially the attention and support of provincial leaders and authorities at all levels to Buddhist activities. On occasion of the 2022 Lunar New Year, the Most Venerable sent New Year wishes for good health, peace and happiness to leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front.

Pham Van Chanh also informed on socio-economic development of the province in 2021; evaluated the important role and contribution of Binh Duong Buddhism to the common growth of the province during the past time. He expressed his wish that Binh Duong Buddhism would continue to "accompany the nation", accompany the province, unite and maintain good relations with other religions; actively contribute to charity work and social security.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Pham Van Chanh sent greetings to  dignitaries of Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and Buddhist people in the province.
