Supervision on ensuring participation of Women's Unions at all levels in State management

Thuan An city’s Women's Union has just established a delegation to supervise the People's Committees of Binh Chuan and Vinh Phu wards on the implementation of Article No.4 of the Decree No. 56 of the Government stipulating the responsibilities of ministries, sectors and People's Committees at all levels to ensure the participation of Women’s Unions at all levels in State management.

Under the Decree No.56, over the past years, the Party committees and authorities at all levels of the above-mentioned localities created all conditions in terms of material facilities, people, working budget, etc., for grassroots Women's Unions to well play their role in participating in State management in such areas as contributing to projects and plans on economic, cultural and social development, contributing to the construction and improvement of the legal system, contributing to bringing legitimate rights and benefits to the local Women's Union branches, their members and children....

In addition, the local Party committees at all levels paid attention to training, fostering and building a contingent of qualified cadres; actively created a source of female cadres for the local political system while organizing annual meetings with the Women's Union of the same level to promptly solve difficulties raised in women's work and organization of the association.
