Provincial leaders receive delegation of Daejeon City Council (South Korea)

On June 22, Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, worked with a delegation of Daejeon City Council (South Korea) led by Kim Jong Cheon, Member of Daejeon City Council.

At the meeting, Phuong said that Binh Duong province and Daejeon city had established a friendly cooperation relationship since 2005. In particular, in 2018, Binh Duong province cooperated with Daejeon city and the World Technopolis Association (WTA) to host the 11th WTA Summit and activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of WTA in Binh Duong province. She hoped that the friendly relationship between population of the two countries in general, government leaders, Binh Duong Provincial People's Council and Daejeon City Council in particular are getting stronger.

Kim Jong Cheon said South Korea currently ranks fifth out of 65 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong, with 761 projects, total investment capital of US$3.257 billion. He hoped that Binh Duong provincial leadership to continue creating favorable conditions for Korean businesses to do business in the province. Daejeon City Council will continue to enhance the friendly cooperation between the two localities and introduce many Daejeon businesses and investors to Binh Duong.
