19,687 local students to enter 10th grade entrance exam

As planned, provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) will organize the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2022-2023 school year from June 1 to 3. The whole province has 19,687 students to take this year’s 10th grade entrance exam with three compulsory subjects, including mathematics, literature, and a foreign language. For students who take the entrance exam to Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, they will take more special subjects.

In order to ensure that the exam is organized and implemented in accordance with regulations, provincial DoET has established 42 examination councils while assigning teachers and educational staff to supervise the exam...Provincial DoET clearly defines the responsibilities of each member in accordance with their assigned tasks.

In addition, provincial DoET also coordinates with the local police force to ensure security for the exam; coordinate with the Divisions of Education and Training, continuing education centers to prepare material facilities as well as necessary conditions for the organization of the exam.

In the 2022-2023 school year, provincial DoIT will recruit nearly 11,200 students to the 10th grade of public high schools.
