“May market” helps workers buy goods at discounts up to 45%

Responding to Workers' Month 2023, Labor Confederation of Tan Uyen City has held a "May Market" in 2023 with 14 booths selling a variety of essential goods and foods at discounted prices up to 45% for union members and employees. Besides, the City Labor Confederation also cooperated with other units to organize direct communication and propagation, question-and-answer sessions with union members and workers on issues related to Labor Law and Law on Social Insurance, Law on Occupational Safety and Health…; provide free health consultation and medical examination for officials, trade union members, and workers; organize weekend music playground for employees; organize a quiz program with prizes, karaoke singing contest with prizes...

On this occasion, Provincial Labor Confederation awarded emulation flags of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to Executive Committee of Dai Hoa Company's Trade Union and certificates of merit to 26 excellent individuals of the movement of good labor and construction of strong trade union in 2022. Tan Uyen City Confederation of Labour commended 5 trade union collectives for having initiatives in “One million initiatives - strive to overcome difficulties, be creative, determine to win over the Covid-19 pandemic” program launched by Vietnam General Confederation of Labor;  rewarded 11 examples of “Good people, good work” among employees; gave 150 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND in cash and necessities to trade union members and workers having extremely difficult circumstances.
