Midwife Duong Nguyen Thuy Trinh posthumously awarded the PM’s certificates of merit

On October 15, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh signed the Decision No. 1733/QD-TTg on posthumously awarding the certificate of merit of the Prime Minister to Duong Nguyen Thuy Trinh, a midwife of provincial General Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics for her outstanding achievements in the local Covid-19 prevention and control.

Prior to that, the pregnant midwife was unfortunately positive for SARS-CoV-2 during the emergency process for patients.  After a period of treatment, she did not recover and died, due to the pandemic on August 16, 2021.
