Over 500 people participate in voluntary blood donation

On March 21, Dau Tieng district’s Red Cross Society in collaboration with HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center organized the first voluntary blood donation campaign of 2023.

The blood donation campaign lured more than 500 volunteers from the local agencies, units and people to register to participate in. As a result, the organizers collected more than 500 blood units, with each unit of 350ml of blood. This blood amount was handed over to Cho Ray Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center to preserve and continue screening in order to serve the treatment of people in need of blood in the coming time.

In addition to the prescribed support regime, the district’s Red Cross Society mobilized Vu Thi Tuat in Minh Tan commune to cook bird's nest sweet soup and mobilized Ngoc Phuoc Buddhist temple to cook food for all volunteers participating in this voluntary blood donation, encouraging and improving their health.
