The whole province injects more than 7 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine

As of August 2, the province had injected 7,054,472 doses of Covid-19 vaccine to people, of which 182,945 doses were given to children from 5 to 11 years old, and 334,723 doses to children aged 12 to 17, and 6,246,035 doses to people aged 18 and over.

By localities, Thuan An city had the highest total number of Covid-19 vaccinations with 1,525,180 injections. In second place is Tan Uyen Town with 1,235,428 injections, followed by localities: Di An city 1,091,069 shots, Ben Cat town 1,062,342, Thu Dau Mot city 956,002, Dau Tieng district 326,041, Bau Bang district 322,485, Phu Giao district 286,278 and North Tan Uyen district 249,647.

According to vaccination statistics, there are still some localities making slow progress in vaccination, while the number of Covid-19 infection cases tends to increase again with the appearance of some new variants of the Omicron strain such as: BA.05.
