Binh Duong Province cooperates with Warburg Pincus Group for cross-border e-commerce project
On the morning of Dec 22, at the Provincial Exhibition and Convention Center, Provincial People's Committee held a video conference on the cross-border e-commerce project with Warburg Pincus Corporation (USA).
Attending at Binh Duong endpoint, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Chanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of Directors Board of Becamex IDC Corporation; representatives of provincial departments, agencies and branches took part in the meeting.

Speaking at the opening, Vo Van Minh emphasized, this conference was an opportunity for Binh Duong provincial leaders to listen to recommendations, suggestions, and discuss, improve the efficiency of cooperation investment projects in order to seize opportunities and expand cooperation in many fields, better develop the potential and strengths of the parties, contribute to the socio-economic development of Binh Duong province.
At the conference, Jeffrey David Perlman introduced about the development of this Group in Vietnam and the cross-border e-commerce project. He wished the province would create favorable conditions to soon complete legal procedures to implement the project. This is one of the big strategic projects. The goal is to build a supply chain integration ecosystem. The project is a highlight to attract investment and develop Binh Duong Smart City. He believed that the project implementation would elevate the position of Binh Duong in particular and Vietnam in general. Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi expressed his joy and thanked BW leaders for joining hands with the province in disease prevention and control, quickly building a field hospital to serve the treatment of Covid patients.
