‘Heroic Mother’ title bestowed upon 327 women in HCM City
An additional 237 women in Ho Chi Minh City whose husbands and children laid down their lives for national liberation have been honoured with the title of ‘Heroic Mother’.

Among them, only 16 are alive and able to receive the title at a ceremony held on December 21.
At the event, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Le Thanh Hai stressed that the city is always grateful for the outstanding dedication and sacrifices to the nation made by the mothers.
Hai also pledged that local authorities would do their utmost to improve the living conditions for the heroic mothers and their families.
HCM City is home to 3,633 Vietnamese heroic mothers.
